East Coast Ngoh HiangMy wife had a craving for Blanco Court Prawn Noodles today so we headed to Beach Road for lunch. Apart from prawn noodles, almost every other table had a plate of Ngoh Hiang on it. Other than the Prawn Noodles stall, the only stall in the coffeeshop is East Coast Ngoh Hiang. I ordered some Ngoh Hiang to go with the Prawn Noodles. I ordered the Intestine stuffed with meat, Prawn Fritters, Prawn Crackers and Yu Tiao with Cuttlefish. The Intestine stuffed with meat is tasty and the the meat is lean. The Prawn Fritters are thin and pretty crispy. And the Prawn Crackers are very crispy and crunchy. It's hard to stop crunching on it. As for the Yu Tiao with Cuttlefish, I find it somewhat normal. Overall, I would say it is a good side dish to go with your Prawn Noodles. Rating: 7/10 (Good, Can Try)

Blanco Court Prawn MeeI was at Beach Road for lunch today. I decided to check out one of my favourite Prawn Mee stalls called Blanco Court Prawn Mee. As usual, I will order my favourite Pork Rib Kway Teow Dry with Chilli. Unfortunately, there was no more kway teow so I ordered Pork Rib Bee Hoon Dry instead for myself and Prawn Bee Hoon Dry for my wife. The pork rib was tender and the layer of fat dissolves when you put in your mouth. The fried spring onion was fragrant and the chilli was absolutely a great combination with Kway Teow. The soup has a rich prawny taste. This is one Prawn Mee you must try if you happen to be around the area. Rating: 8.5/10 (Good, Must Try)
Blanco Court Prawn Mee 243 Beach Road #01-01 S(189754) Fried Hokkien Prawn MeeI was at Golden Mile Food Centre for dinner today. I was walking around looking for good food and I decided to check out this stall called Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee. I ordered a plate of Fried Hokkien Mee for S$3.00. The Hokkien Mee was tasty and had ingredients like sotong, prawns, bean sprouts and eggs. If you like your noodles spicy with a tinge of sweetness, the chilli will go well with the noodles. If you are around the area, you can check out this stall. Rating: 6.5/10 (Above Average)
